BASIS FOR FINAL GRADE: Grading will be based on two analytical papers and class participation
ABSTRACT OF COURSE'S CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
This class provides students with an overview and introduction to the
subject of business ethics IN THE GLOBAL SOCIETY. Through the
discussion of cases that explore a wide range of ethical issues that
confront managers, ranging from bribery to environmental responsibility
and human rights, students will be provided with an analytical
framework that will enable them to think more clearly about their
ethical responsibilities as managers and the social responsibility of
business.
BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Ms. Weinreb is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) consultant with clients including L.L.Bean, Nike, Hewlett Packard, World Bank, and USAID. Currently she consults to Levi Strauss & Co where she assists the process to root CSR into the heart of the company. She holds an MBA from Yale and a BSc in Economics from Wellesley.
