ABSTRACT OF COURSE'S CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
Life as an Entrepreneur is a speaker series designed for first year,
first semester MBAs (though we welcome all Berkeley students) who want to found
a company, work for a startup or simply wish to know more about the
entrepreneurial world. Speakers come from a wide variety of companies and
stages of growth and include experienced successful entrepreneurs, investors,
as well as current student venture teams.
This is off-the-cuff, off-record, straight talk from people who've tried
to build scalable ventures and have both succeeded and failed. It's one
of the best opportunities at Haas to learn
from entrepreneurs who've gone before you, while building your network within
the Bay Area startup scene.
