ABSTRACT OF COURSE'S CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES: VC
speaker series (part 2) is an extension from VC speaker series held in Fall 2017.
It is for all students and not limited to those who took the VC speakers series
last Fall.
The sessions will focus more on career journey of Partners at leading VCs. Few
sessions will also be a panel between a VC partner
with an entrepreneur from their portfolio company.
The class is not limited to those interested in getting VC jobs but for all
those who are interested in a career in tech, startups, entrepreneurship and silicon valley in general.
Many of the speakers have had successful careers in various roles such as from
being an entrepreneur to product management, strategy and general management in
firms across sectors from tech, media to healthcare. Focus will be to draw
insights from their career paths and what we can learn from that.
Fall speakers included Partners from top-tier VC firms such as Sequoia Capital,
Founders Fund, Accel, Bessemer, Greylock.
