 ABSTRACT OF COURSE'S CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:

The Healthcare Speaker series is coordinated by the Haas Healthcare Association.  This speaker series will bring leaders from various sectors of the healthcare industry to speak about the opportunities and challenges they currently face and opportunities for MBAs to work in the healthcare arena.  This is a great learning and networking opportunity.

 Each week a different sector of healthcare will be covered, including:

             Payers (insurance companies, HMOs)

             Providers (hospitals, physician groups)

             Medical Devices

             Biotech/Pharma

             Healthcare Consulting

             Healthcare Start-ups

             Healthcare non-profits

             International health
