ABSTRACT OF COURSE'S CONTENT AND
OBJECTIVES: This course has been designed to help students prepare for case
interviews. It is tailored to the consulting interview process, but will also
be of use to students pursuing all industries that have case interviews as part
of their recruiting process.
The main goal is to strengthen
students’ basic skills required to succeed during the interview process and
facilitate effective case practice in advance of the recruiting season.
Specific topics will include:
- Overview of the consulting
recruiting process
- Overview of the case interview
- Learning how to both give and
receive cases
- Understanding frameworks for case
interviews
- Case math & dealing with data
- Non-standard case types (e.g.
written cases)
- Designing a practice regimen
