ABSTRACT OF COURSE'S CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES:
The goal of "Handson Rapid Prototyping: Learning by Experimentation" is to provide students access to tools and skill sets needed to make hardware & software prototypes ready for market testing. Students will engage in handson activities that will help them understand and utilize the latest prototyping tools such as 3D printing, software mockup tools / templates, etc. to help them learn about their potential customers and gauge market interest in their business concepts. Metrics like sales, mailing list growth and / or stats from web and video analytics will then be utilized to help students understand the market potential. Final projects will be presented at a demo day.
